Firefighters, from Sandyford and Hanley, are in attendance at the scene on the northbound carriageway near Tunstall. An earlier crash, also on the northbound carriageway, had caused congestion to back up around four miles towards Sideway roundabout. The dual carriageway fully reopened by 3.25pm, but fire crews were called to the latest incident just 10 minutes later.
