Forbes murder trial pushed to Sept

Forbes, 33, is charged with two heinous murders which shocked the nation last year. The victims, two young Dominican women, Yuneiry Veras and Sonrineida Moreno Arias, were killed in April and July respectively. Both women’s bodies were found in bushes in remote areas of Providenciales. Forbes is currently represented by attorney Arthur Hamilton and the trial was set to begin July 13. However, Forbes is seeking a QC in addition to Hamilton and to facilitate this, the case has been postponed to September.
