GoCoogs.com has learned from two sources that Alabama transfer Eyabi Anoma is expected to sign with the Houston Cougars in the coming days. Anoma is an outside linebacker that entered the transfer portal last Sunday.Anoma is just a sophomore. He appeared in all 12 games last season and was named to the All-Freshman Team in the SEC.If he does indeed wind up at Houston, he’ll likely have to sit out a season per NCAA transfer rules.We’ll keep you updated on where Anoma lands. Multiple reports suggest he could land at Houston.Anoma put his name in the transfer portal back in February, but eventually returned to Alabama. This past Sunday, his name was back in the portal.Alabama head coach Nick Saban confirmed on Saturday that Anoma was dismissed from the program.
