first_img QPR chairman Tony Fernandes QPR are close to appointing Harry Redknapp’s successor after chairman Tony Fernandes revealed he believes he has landed his “dream manager”.Redknapp, 67, stepped down last week after citing the need for knee surgery as a reason why he could not continue at the Loftus Road helm – with the R’s currently sitting 19th in the Premier League.Chris Ramsey has been filling the void on a caretaker basis, with former Tottenham head coach Tim Sherwood the heavy favourite for the position – although Fernandes’ comment on Twitter seemed to distance the club from the 46-year-old.“Think I have got my dream manager.
